A wedding photography experience filled with ease and tender moments.

Experience

Our approach to wedding photography is rooted in connection—our connection as a team, which allows us to work seamlessly together, and our connection with you, enabling us to understand your vision and priorities. This is your special day, and our focus is on capturing the moments and details that matter most to you.

We aim to create an enjoyable and comfortable experience, not only during the photography process but throughout your entire wedding day. You’ve poured time and effort into making this day extraordinary, and it’s our mission to ensure you can fully love every moment.

Our candid photography style supports this philosophy. With a gentle and unobtrusive approach, we blend into the day while providing guidance when needed, ensuring a natural and effortless experience. Let us help you celebrate and preserve the beauty of your day, exactly as it unfolds.

What to expect

Our Approach

—Danielle & James

“They felt not only like friends but also a support system for us. Throughout the day we had moments for photos and they reminded us to slow down, take a breath and take it all in. They were simply the best and we can truly attest to their ability to set anyone at ease.”

What's Important to you...

Living in the moment

Community

You like a plan, but you're able to go off script and trust the adventure. We once had a bride tell us that weddings are like raising a child ... you do everything you can, set them up for success, but when the day comes "they're gonna do what they're gonna do and you're still going to love and cherish them."

The Romantic & Sentimental

You value community, whether with family, chosen family, friends, or your community at large. Social justice issues are important to you, you get deep quick, and don't shy away from expressing what's important to you.

You know your partner's favourite meal, you have "a song", you save ticket stubs from your dates, and can switch back and forth telling new friends the story of how you fell in love. You've found your person and you know the magic of being in love.

…you want to love every moment

Nostalgia & Memories

You place a lot of value in family heirlooms. Maybe you grew up rifling through photographs, imagining the lives & stories behind each one. You know your wedding photos will have a place in that family legacy.

FAQ

Where are you based?

Our home is on the south shore of Nova Scotia, however we work almost anywhere your love brings us. We've worked in sandy and warm destinations all the way to Manitoba in the middle of winter. While we’re not exactly marketed as destination wedding photographers, it’s safe to assume we're open to travel.

Do you photograph 2sLGBTQ+ couples?

Yes. If it wasn't obvious already, absolutely yes! We're queer, both of us, we love all types of love and if you can't get down with that then we're not a good fit anyhow. If you're community, or or an ally just looking to hire more queer wedding vendors, ask us for our queer wedding vendor guide.

Can you photoshop our photos?

We do not do body modification editing. “If it’ll be gone in two weeks, it’ll be gone in the photos.” is our tried and true approach to this ask. If there’s something you’re self conscious about we invite you to share it with us in advance so we can photograph you with that in mind.

How do you describe your photography?

If we had to categorize our style we’d say predominantly candid, documentary photography with approachable editorial vibes. We like to make people feel special and look amazing on their wedding day. The tools and approach we use is specific to each moment but we prioritize connection, so as much as our photography speaks for itself our customer service and attention to detail is the secret to our success.

“What an incredible experience! From the planning stages, to the big day itself, they were an incredible help and resource. We genuinely didn't even notice the two of them taking photos the day of our wedding, they fit in so seamlessly.”
